Barsu, a village in Uttarkashi situated very close to gangotri dham is well known for its amidst scenic surroundings, is the base camp as the Dayara Bugyal trek route is via Barsu. It takes around 8-9 hrs to get there so we will leave early in the morning from Dehradun Railway Station. first day and get delicious views of Draupadi Ka Danda, Shrikhand Mahadev, Mt Jaonli and Gangotri group of peaks and near Barsu village Freshen up and enjoy evening snacks in the open Garden with great views
Have a breakfast then trek to Barnala Tal. Barsu is the starting point of the trek to Barnala Tal through dense oak forests, this trail is around 4-5 hours long, ascending gradually. Continue trekking to reach your campsite Barnala Tal and witness towering peaks of Bandarpoonch, Draupadi Ka Danda, Shrikhand Mahadev and Black peak. The place which marks the beginning of the famed undulating stretches of green prairies or ‘Bugyals’. Set up your campsite at this ideal location and retire here for the night.
Take breakfast then start trek to Dayara Bugyal and Bakaria top Summit with packed lunch and day peak, offer great sight of Bandarpunch (6,300 Meters) and Black peak (6,387 Meters). Today’s trek is quite long but not very difficult and can be completed in few hours. Reach Dayara Bugyal Top by afternoon. It is a little bit steep trail and takes around 2 - 3 hours to get Dayara Bugyal which is the end of the forests where hidden mountains Bandar Ka Poonch and Kala Nag (Black Peak) become visible. Dayara Bugyal to Bakaria top, the highest point of the vast meadow standing at 12,000 ft. Get enchanted by the panoramic views of snow peaks, lush valleys and such from the top. Depart from Bakaria back to the campsite at Dayara Bugyal. Now get ready to descend through the pristine beauty of the meadows. Retrace your steps and return to camp.
In morning listen the chirping of birds and in peaceful aura. After breakfast, The amazing views are Bandarpoonch peak and start descending to Barsu village. You can relive the past fond moments by just looking behind. It seems as if the mountain peaks are calling you back Follow the same path and reach Barsu village
Today – It is your last breakfast on this trek with Mount Hikers team. You will reach Dehradun by 3 to 4 PM, from here you can lead your return journey as you have planned. Make sure to take back loads of adventure filled memories and take a pledge to come back to the mountains.

(Departure - 5:40am; Arrival - 5:35pm) By Bus:- The regular bus service from Delhi to Dehradun, from Delhi’s (ISBT Kashmere Gate). We would suggest you to take only government buses from (ISBT Kashmere Gate). Private buses run from outside of ISBT and they are not trust worthiness. Usually buses drop you at Dehradun ISBT. From there you have to come to Dehradun Railway Station through Ola/ Uber Cab and Vikram , Tata Sumo or similar vehicles to go Dehradun Railway Station at 6:00am. Pick-up from dehradun to Barsu is not included in the cost of the trek. Based upon your request we will arrange a pick up and drop from Dehradun to Barsu and back to dehradun. This will be shared equally by the team members on actual basis. You pay directly to the driver/transporter. The Tata Sumo/Mahindra Maxx one way. This can accommodate 6 to 8 people.
