The pickup place is Kathgodam railway station early in the morning and drive Lohagang in a taxi which is approximately 8 hours drive

Lohajung is the place where Goddess Parvati had a jung (fight) with the demon Lohasur. Literally translated, Lohajung means ‘Fight with Lohasur’.
Transport will be arranged at an additional cost from Kathgodam Railway Station at 06:30 AM. Cost of the cab – Rs. 5,500 per vehicle.
After breakfast a short trek will lead to a village spot called Mandoli Spot the Kail valley as you climb higher. Kail valley is marked by the union of Kail and Pindari rivers.The beauty cannot be described simply in words. Amidst thick oak forests, the lake gleams peacefully in summer, while in winter, it is frozen. You will find a bridge of 10 meter known as Link-gaad to help you cross the stream. After two hours of trek, you will reach Begum which has splendid views of Navali Bugyal and Bagdi Bugyal. It a place where you can rest and take some time. An hour walk will lead you towards Gujrani stream and from there it’s just 75 minutes’ walk to reach Bekaltal. Trek ends at a camp near the beautiful lake - Khopdaliya. Dinner at the camp and spend the night in tents.
Trek to Brahmatal Lake where Lord Brahma meditated many years. That's why the name of the lake is Bhramatal. you can see Almora, Nainital side of the valley. The huge mountains are also visible scantily. The day entails a trek till the serene Brahmatal Lake followed by setting up a camp by the lake side you will pass by a forest of Oak trees. The campsite in Brahmatal is situated at an elevation of 10400 ft. and just a half km away from the lake.
A short trek is almost an hour will take you to Chota Jhandidar. Pass through Chota and Bada Jhandidar to reach Brahmatal. It’s a curvy trail sandwiched between valleys on either side. 2.5 to 3 hours is all you need to reach Brahmatal top. Route, one gets to see the splendour of the mighty Himalayas, esp. Mt. Trishul and Nandaghunti. Clear skies will let you indulge in a fascinating view of the Himalayas.The campsite DALDUM for the day is just 3 hours away from the peak, with a trail passing through forests.
The view along this descent is mesmerizing and quite astounding if you haven’t seen them before. The Brahmatal trek is incomplete without the scenic glances of the mountain ridges, like nothing you have seen before.
During the course of the journey we pass through a small place called Daldum which is quite beautifully covered by trees. 30 mins later into the trail, we reach Malling, a good water source which is located outside the vicinity of the forest area.
On walking further for an hour, we come across Burali which is a small place with a few houses. Villagers in this area farm during the cultivable seasons that last for a few months to meet their basic needs
