Har ki Dun trek
An eccentric solace at foothills of giants
that a few souls seek. In the scare sunlight, the winds
blow strong and the flowers fade. Oh my lord! Take
me to the valley my Shiv made

with quaint little villages along the way and a legend
dating back to the times of Mahabharata. This cradle-
shaped hanging valley in the Garhwal Himalayas of

The Har ki Dun Trek , 11,700ft above sea level, is snow-
covered from October to March and holds a
quintessential view of various mountain peaks
including Mt. Swargarohini.
An interesting local legend says that only Yudhistira,
one of the five Pandavas is believed to have climbed
this peak, on his way to heaven.
