Day 1 - Dehradun to Sankri
Day 1 - Dehradun to Sankri

As we know today is first day of our trip from Dehradun at 6:30am onward journey to Sankri. Sankri is located at a distance of 210kms on the National Highway. It’s a long scenic drive on a Tata Sumo or a similar vehicle takes at least 9 hours to reach Sankri, our trek base providing absolute comfort to the trekkers so that they can enjoy the beauty of the Drive on twisting roads, which present the most scenic sights of the Garhwal as you pass through exotic locales of Mussoorie, Barkot to finally arrive at the last motorable village Sankri, 13km inside Govind National Park. You’ll camp at this quaint village for the tent in pitched camps

Day 2 - Trek from Sankri to Juda ka Taalab

Finally Your ground trek will begin today where you’ll head towards the Juda Ka Taal having an altitude of 9100 Ft.
Today's morning we start from breakfast and some warm up exercise to help you acclimatise with the local weather conditions, you’ll begin your trek from the beautiful village of Sankri and trek towards Juda ka Talaab. This remote lake tucked away in the grandeur of the snow-capped mountains is the ideal place to camp for the ever changing scenes bring alive the natural kaleidoscope with every change in light. Retire for the night by a pond ringed by pine and oak trees.

Day 3 - Trek from Juda ka Talaab to Kedarkantha Base

If we talk about the Juda Ka Taal is a most beautiful lake surrounded by the pine trees which gets a freeze during winters and became a spot for adventures and fun activities for the trekkers like gliding or walking on ice. The trail will be getting steeper as you move forward where your trek guide can teach you some skills for snow slopes and also do listen to him; he might assist you regarding how big you footsteps. The destination of this day is Kedarkantha base camp lies at an altitude of 11,250 Ft. which is approx 4 km from Juda ka Taal and may take 2 hrs to reach though depends on the trekkers walking speed.This place is  one of the most finest stretches on this trail as the natural beauty is unbelievable and promises to leave behind an unforgettable memory. Trek through forest heavily occupied by pine and oak trees that give these mountains its distinct charm. Arrive at an open meadow at the summit’s base, set up camp for the night and retire.

Day 4 - Trek to Kedarkantha Summit and descend to Hargaon

Today our trek is quite more as compare to other day, but the excitement of the journey and conquering the peak would be far greater and much more worthy in compared to the challenges for the visitors. The climb is steep however absolutely worthwhile and one with rewarding views. As soon as you move slowly dense forest trails surrounding by Pine trees start to disappear slowly. It takes about 2 hours to reach there on the peak of kedharkantha, you are surrounded by mountain valleys and ranges. Panoramic sights of mighty Himalayas range mixed with dark, blue and white clouds scattered like a painting sketched by nature just for you. You will see the Dhauladhar range, Chainsheel Pass, Har ki Dun valley and Rupin valley. Swargarohini also comes into view along with Black Peak and Bandarpoonch. Some of the other peaks you see include Gangotri, Yamnotri, Jorkanden and Draupadi ka Danda. After spending some time on the top, you head back to the campsite, have lunch at a middle point of descending at the basecamp and head towards Hargaon. After a wonderful day, spend the night in tents.Ensure that you have had a suitably large sized breakfast as today will be a long day. Ascend to the Kedarkantha peak (3,850m). The climb is steep but absolutely worthwhile and one with rewarding views. Have lunch against a stunning backdrop of the Gangotri and Yamunotri ranges. After a quick break, prepare for a descent to Hargaon, your destination for the night’s halt.

Day 5 - Trek from Hargaon back to Sankri

Today your memorising Kedarkantha trekking has come where you’ll have to leave the majestic view of the Himalayas and snowcapped mountain ranges. We’ll be heading back to the Sankri today, and the trek will be relatively simple since the distance is short. Sankri is the stoppage village in the morning will welcome you with a spectacular sunrise between the pine trees which will proceed with the breakfast with mountain air for company, pack and prepare for your trek back to Sankri. Along the way you can enjoy the open views of meadows of the beautiful Har ki Dun Valley much known for its rich flora. Retire for the day.

Day 6 - Drive from Sankri to Dehradun

Last day of trek the official ending to your mesmerising Kedarkantha trekking. As you travel on the same path from Sankri to Dehradun, the excitement at the start of the journey finds a way to settle down with a set of unforgettable memories as you head back to home.

Cancellation Policy
- If the cancellations are made 30 Days before the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellations are made within 10-30 days before the trip, 30% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellations are made within 0-10 days before the trip, Transfer your trek (same trek, same batch) to your friend. No cash refund.
- In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
- Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking

Nearest Airport - Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun , is located 24 km away from the city.
And daily flight from Delhi to Dehradun.

By Train -
New delhi to Dehradun

By Bus:-

The regular bus service from Delhi to Dehradun, from Delhi’s (ISBT Kashmere Gate).
We would suggest you to take only government buses from (ISBT Kashmere Gate). Private buses run from outside of ISBT and they are not trust worthiness.
Usually buses drop you at Dehradun ISBT. From there you have to come to Dehradun Station through Ola/ Uber Cab and Vikram , Tata Sumo or similar vehicles to go Dehradun Railway Station at 6:00am.

Pick-up from dehradun to Sankri is not included in the cost of the trek.
Based upon your request we will arrange a pick up and drop from Dehradun to Sankri and back to dehradun. This will be shared equally by the team members on actual basis. You pay directly to the driver/transporter. The fare is Rs 5500 for a Tata Sumo/Mahindra Maxx one way. This can accommodate 6 to 8 people. A Tempo Traveller charges Rs 9000 (12-14 seat) one way. This is NOT included in TREK FEE and to be paid directly to the driver/owner.

If you wish to reach our Trek Base Sankri on your own by public transportation:

There are 2/3 privately operated buses from Dehradun (near DDN railway station on Gandhi road) To Sankri. The 200 Km journey will take around 10/12 hours. The busses start at 5:30; & 6:00; & 7:00 am onward.

While returning from Sankri take the morning bus to Dehradun/Vikasnagar and reach by 7 pm.
You will reach Sankri at 5:00pm.
Food from dehradun to Sankri is not included in the trek cost
